Thank you for asking about my wedding services. This page describes my still photography offerings. I am also very proud of my capability to produce lovely videos of your event. I don't do both at the same time nor do I hire "stringers" to help with these important jobs. I simply do either photographs or videos as you wish. My basic fee for video coverage of your event is $450 using a state of the art 3 chip digital camera. If you are interested in video only, please call for details. Most of my wedding photographs are still taken on square 60 mm medium format film even though more and more photographers are falling back to just using 35 mm film. Unfortunately the small film cannot hold either the detail or the total quality of larger 60 mm film. With my square format images I retain full control of important cropping options. With 35 mm film you either take what you get or pay an expensive premium to get the 35 mm cropped properly.
I have been photographing weddings since 1966. My background includes two years of photographic training at the Rochester Institute of Technology and three years an an apprentice photographer in Detroit. Wedding and photographic concepts come and go and I have seen many of them. My specialty is the "documentary" approach to wedding photography whether video or stills covering those things that make each wedding unique. Of course I make those important topical pictures of family and friends. If you don't see exactly the package you want. ULTIMATE WEDDING
Includes everything in our deluxe package (below) plus your choice of an engagement portrait of the couple or a formal studio portrait of the bride in her wedding gown or a portrait of the bride and her family at a time prior to the wedding. DELUXE WEDDING $1600
For the finest in wedding coverage, Jon will
begin at the bride's home and document the start of her special day. He will also
devote all of the time you need to create those special effects pictures before and
at the church. If you wish to do your formal pictures before the ceremony, as more
and more couples are doing, this is your package. Or, do your group pictures after
the ceremony as you wish.
At the reception Jon will photograph your dinner, the cake, the bouquet toss, dancing,
- in short, your complete wedding day.

STANDARD WEDDING PACKAGE $1200
Jon will photograph the pre-ceremony, the ceremony, and the group
pictures. Also individual portraits of the family members of your choice during the
wedding day and 4 hours of coverage at your reception.

ECONOMY PACKAGE $900
Perfect for the smaller wedding. Jon will photograph the pre-ceremony
and ceremony, all wedding groups and 3 hours of coverage at
your reception.

TERMS FOR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
A $300 retainer is required to hold your wedding date. All wedding packages must be paid in full before the wedding date. Originals checked out of the studio require a deposit but may be purchased. Michigan sales tax applies to all packages. Our photographs are copyrighted and may not be copied or reproduced by anyone but our studio.Reservation deposits are non-refundable if you cancel your wedding date. From time to time, customer's photos are incorporated into our advertising or promotions without compensation or consideration.
